The First Farmers
The hunter and gatherers were the first ones to live off the land over 100,000 years ago. They only used what they needed and what they could find. They first used stone tools and eventually they figured out hw to evolve their tools to make them better by using metal. The metal would last longer and be able to have more use for them. The Paleolithic people set the standard for civilization for food, land use and migration. It was found that Africa was the place where it began. Things like artwork, burials, beads and ornaments show that there was human connection throughout Africa showing the migration patterns to the Middle East and to parts of Europe and Asia. Living in small groups also helped these little societies survive the harsh climates with little food. Moving more often helped them use the resources of the land around them so they never run out of food through the plants and animals nearby.
